Have You Made Any Holiday Resolutions For 2019?
If your way of getting through the January Blues is to start planning holidays, we’re onboard. When it comes to caravanning breaks, many of us have our tried and tested favourite sites but maybe 2019 is the year to mix things up?
In a recent article for Caravan Times, William Coleman shared his new year’s resolutions when it comes to his holidays, and one of them is to visit five new sites in five new locations in the coming 12 months.
However, he acknowledged that this can be easier said than done. “The amount of variety out there is astonishing, almost too much to choose from,” he stated. But you could find an absolute gem if you stray from your usual beaten path.
Mr Coleman also revealed that being more active on his holidays is another resolution and pointed out that this should be relatively easy to achieve given that so many caravan and camping sites are located in areas of natural beauty with plenty on their doorsteps.
Cycling trails, hiking routes, wildlife parks and even kayaking tours are among the things that can be found within reach of many UK caravan sites he noted.
Whatever kind of caravanning breaks you’re planning in 2019, make sure you have all the right caravan equipment in the UK for whatever you have in mind.
If you too want to have more active breaks with your family in 2019, don’t wait until the summer arrives. There are plenty of great things you can do outdoors in the winter too and it’s a good habit to start as we move into a new year.
The key to having fun in the great outdoors at this time of year, according to a recent article for Business Insider, is to be prepared for the cold. That means wearing appropriate clothing, as well as having a stash of dry/warm clothes waiting for you when you get back to your caravan.
